Laughterhouse Ticket Prices & Booking Information

How can I book tickets?

Tickets can be booked 24 hours a day online or can be purchased over the phone using our booking line 0151 440 2564 from 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday and from 2pm - 6pm on Saturday.  We have a fully manned booking line but if lines are busy, please leave a message and we will call you back within 1 hour.

How do I receive my tickets?

If you book online, your ticket is available straight away - a copy will be emailed to you and will be available on our website by logging into your account.  Tickets purchased at the venue or over the phone will be emailed to you within 1 hour.  We do not post tickets - all of our tickets are e-tickets, but if you are purchasing tickets as a gift, please call us and we will be happy to post a gift voucher to you.

Is there a booking fee?

We don't charge a booking fee for our tickets.

What time do the doors to the comedy club open?

Our club opens 45 minutes before the start of the show.  Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of the show. Customers who arrive after the start of the show may lose their seats to standing customers.

Are tickets available on the door?

Our shows often sell out but there may be limited tickets available on the door.  We suggest you call the office in advance to check or book online up until the start of the show.  If we are sold out on the website I'm afraid there will be no tickets available to buy on the door.

Are the seats reserved?

Yes, we do a seating plan for all of our shows so if you have any seating requirements or would like to sit with another group please call 0151 440 2564 no later than 48 hours before the show and we will do our best to sit you where you would like.

How long do shows last?

Our shows usually last 2 hours (touring shows may vary).  All shows include intervals and the bar is open during the interval to purchase drinks which can be taken to your seats.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are not refundable unless the show is cancelled.  Unless you are booking for a one-man tour show then acts may be subject to change but we will always replace any acts with another of equal experience/ profile.

Is heckling allowed?

Heckling is a part of live comedy, but it can quickly become tiresome for other members of the audience if it is overdone. If an audience member persistently interrupts a performer or if the heckling is vicious, racist, or in any other way offensive in our opinion we will take action to put a stop to it.  In most cases this will firstly be a polite request for the offender to stop their heckling.

We expect members of the audience to respect the performers, other paying members of the audience, the staff and the venue. This means that we will do our utmost to ensure our customers can enjoy the show without having to put up with constant interruptions to the show or people talking while the performers are on stage.

Are large groups allowed?

Absolutely! Larger groups add to the atmosphere and we do offer a group booking discount for groups of 10 or more on Fridays.  We do however, ask large groups to respect the acts and other audience members.  Any customer who is disrupting the show or spoiling the night for anyone else will be politely asked to stop this disruption.  We are a comedy club first and foremost and it's really important to us that our acts and customers are enjoying the performance.

Is there a dress code?

There is no strict dress code at our clubs, but bear in mind it is a Liverpool City Centre venue so no trainers or sportswear and we are fine with groups that would like to dress up.

Is the night over once the comedy finishes?

No, we have live music straight after the show at The Slaughter House and the bar will remain open at all other venues.
