I have a crush on The Laughterhouse Comedy Club.

This year, Lee Nelson has hosted and appeared on Live at the Apollo (BBC One) as well as releasing his first Live DVD and touring the country. Last year he performed on BBC One’s Let’s Dance for… Comic Relief and returned this year to the show as a judge. Simon also wrote a weekly column in the News of The World as Lee Nelson.
Simon’s additional television and radio credits include appearances on Channel 4’s Comedy Gala; Absolutely Fabulous (BBC One); Children In Need (BBC One); Al Murray’s Multiple Personality (ITV1); Comedy Rocks (ITV1); Big Brother’s Big Mouth (Channel 4); The Wall (BBC Three); Edinburgh and Beyond (Comedy Central); and BBC Radio 2’s Out To Lunch.
Simon has taken five hit solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he won the Writer’s Guild Award for Best Newcomer in 2006. His 2008 show was praised for Simon’s ‘sharp, quick-fire verbal sparring’ (The Scotsman) as well as his ‘solid gold material’ (Chortle). In 2010 he took Lee Nelson’s Well Good Edinbra Show to the Fringe, selling every single ticket and receiving rave reviews, with a follow-on nationwide tour of Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show.
In 2011, BBC Three aired Lee Nelson's Well Good Show - Series 2 and Simon completed his second Lee Nelson Live tour.
Later Lee stared in a brand new TV series for BBC Three, Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People.
Simon has been busy in recent years pranking the likes of Donald Trump, Kanye West, Philip Green and Seth Blatter.

Simon Horsford, The Daily Telegraph
“Nelson, a baseball cap-wearing ‘sarf London’ geezer with a little Harry Enfield and even a strand or two of Norman Wisdom in his DNA, is surely destined for a bigger stage.”
