What a gig!
My name is Andrew Bird. I am from Northamptonshire. I watched The Young Ones with my brothers when I was eight years old at two in the morning on Comic Relief. Because it was for charity I was allowed to stay up. I have wanted to try and be funny in some way ever since. Then I saw Billy Connolly and Lee Evans and it all made sense. I moved to South London a while back and have been doing stand up ever since. Hope to see you at a gig some time.
“Superb… the exciting rising star”
“A natural comedian”
“Effortlessly engaging and funny as hell”
“Beautifully observed and insightful…not only an entertaining story but a very funny hour of fine stand-up.”
“There’s an undercurrent of wisdom, hope and self-acceptance which delivers more soul than most shows you’ll see this year, but never undermines the comedy. Although his material is always funny and frequently hilarious, it’s his personal charm that makes this special.”
